When Your Depression Relapses

So today was a pretty shit day for me. Not only did it involve a mock exam and awful lessons, but I ended up a small 'episode' essentially.

Okay, let's start from the beginning. I woke up today at around 7:35 this morning dreading the upcoming exam that was just under two hours away. I had not revised all that much because I've always been very confident with English, but I felt like I lacked in my knowledge for context for both 'Animal Farm' and 'Of Mice and Men'. Anyway, fast forward about three hours and I had finished my mock. It had gone surprising well. I finished all of the questions that needing answering and I only messed up one paragraph because I completely forgot to talk about the character of Napoleon (from 'Animal Farm') in one third of the second question.

Onward to the crappy lessons! First I had Spanish, which is normally alright when I have my form tutor but today he was busy, so we had a substitute teacher (not the cute History substitute unfortunately). For most people, they love it when the teachers basically answer the questions provided for them, but I hate it. I would rather just answer them by myself so I know that the subject I'm learning is something I understand and don't have to revise for my exams. Next was Art. I'll let you all know now that I hate this lesson with a passion so my day will always be ruined if I have this class. Nothing particularly bad happened but my teacher makes me do certain things for my exam that I don't need to do. Finally was French. It was a generally better lesson to usual as my teacher wasn't in (where are all the language teachers today?), but it was still really boring.

Now might be a good time to explain the title of this post. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with depression and it lasted for about a year and half. This was due to my parents divorce, me moving country away from my dad and friends, and other stuff. Okay, so my depression hasn't actually relapsed, but today felt exactly how I felt when I had depression. Now that I've wrote this and got my feelings out, I'm a bit more happy.

And I definitely know that it hasn't relapsed because I forgot about everything when I was with the boyfriend. He comes in handy! :P

My plans for this weekend is to just binge watch a lot of Korean dramas because I've been in a slump for the past month. I also plan to restart my other blog back up since I've been neglecting it for a while.

See you next week!

Forgot What April Was

So, Easter is at the end of March, which has apparently thrown me for a loop.
Exams are set to start in the middle of May, and somehow I got it into my head that that was right after the Easter holidays.
No it's not, Eve, April exists too
What does it say if I forgot an entire month existed?
In other news, I've recently become an anxious, frustrated, furious ball of hormones who kind of got a shitty deal for my school musical,
but guess who doesn't want to complain so she doesn't sound bitchy!
*le sigh*
That is apparently my first post on here
So this is Eve, you can find me

Okay, So What is This?

Right, so this "blog" was a spur of the the moment thing. While watching Markiplier play the final episode of 'Firewatch' this afternoon, I thought about writing some sort of online diary like CutiePieMarzia (you can tell I like YouTubers a LOT). However, I'm absolutely awful at keeping any sort of journal. So I asked my handy, non-related twin if she wanted to do a collab blog with me. And here we are, a few hours later.

By the way, the title 'Lara and Eve's Life' is temporary - we're still brainstorming ideas on what to call this.

What we're hoping from this blog are daily life posts really. I say daily but it'll probably only updated a few times a week at most. The posts will either be from me or from Eve. It may be one post from me, one post from her. Or if one of us hasn't been interesting at all for a whole week, one twin may take over for a while. There may even be two posts in one day if we've both had a good day. It honestly just depends.

Oh, and I apologize in advance if I talk about my boyfriend a lot - he's generally about 80% of my social life.
